C Green Live and C Green Solutions Ltd

At C Green Live we aim to supply live aquatic crustaceans such as artemia, rotifers and daphnia to the home aquarist at very competitive prices. Currently, we are only supplying adult artemia, but we will be launching rotifer and daphnia sales in the near future.

These fascinating crustaceans are raised under carefully controlled conditions and on a healthy diet of living algae, such as Tetraselmis chuii, Rhinomonas reticulata, Spirulina and Nannochloripsis. The algae are grown in our laboratory using nutrient enriched water and culture techniques developed by C Green Solutions Ltd.

All water used in our systems, both to grow algae and raise live feed, has been particle filtered to 1 micron, biologically filtered and sterilised with ultraviolet light for a minimum of 24 hours before use. Periodically, ozone is purged through the filtered water reservoirs as an additional precaution against pathogens. Water within our live feed rearing tanks is replenished daily with fresh filtered water.

With the launch of C Green Live the first phase of establishing C Green Solutions Ltd. is underway.

C Green Solutions Ltd. is an environmentally aware company specialising in bioremediation techniques of nutrient rich effluents in an environmentally and economically sound way.

Bioremediation techniques have been employed successfully in one form or another for many years. Fishkeepers and aquarists, for example, around the world have always understood and benefited from the sound application of bioremediation techniques to maintain a clean and healthy water environment within their aquaria.

C Green Solutions Ltd incorporates various bioremediation principles and techniques into its bioremediation systems, adapting and developing existing techniques to applications within other industries and offering novel solutions to convert current waste streams into new valuable products. This approach offers both environmental and economic benefits.

At C Green Solutions Ltd, Our ethic is to always recognise effluent as a valuable and usable product and then to determine and help implement viable ways to use that product. As a demonstration of that ethic, C Green Live was conceived.
