Live Adult & Pre Adult Artemia (Brine Shrimp)

C Green Live’s adult artemia (Brine Shrimp) grow up to 10mm in length. At this length, they are 20 times longer and weigh 500 times more than freshly hatched artemia nauplii. As adults they are also significantly higher in protein and lower in fat compared to nauplii and provide a more nutritious diet for your aquaria inhabitants.

Our pre adult artemia (Brine Shrimp) are supplied between 3 and 6mm in length. As freshly hatched artemia nauplii, approximately a quarter of their body mass is made up of fat. In their pre-adult stage the fat content has reduced to 10% or less of their body weight. At the same time, their protein content will have risen to 50% or more of their body mass. These pre-adult artemia are an excellent food suppliment for your new fry or other small inhabitants of your aquarium.
